The Year of Foley!

The Year Of Foley, will officially kick off on August 1, 2011. I have not been posting anything for a while due to our move to NC and getting settled in here. Now that we're fairly comfortable and things are progressing more smoothly, it's time for me to delve into this thing we call art.

The Year of Foley: What it is.
Quite simply, this is my year to grow and learn as an artist and to try and establish a professional body of work to be sent out to publishers and potential clients. My goal is to produce enough high quality stuff that I can attract a few clients and begin doing illustration for a living.

The Year of Foley: What's in it for you.
Well, beginning August 1st, you get to see artwork from my studio posted EVERY DAY! That's right! It might be big or small, but there will be something posted. You get to see my progress and post some comments about how I'm doing, give some encouragement, give some needed critique, or just say hi.

I've already begun working on a few comic ideas, one drawn digitally and one the old fashion way. I'll be posting up full pages for you to read so you can give me feedback on the stories too. Maybe you'll like them so much that you keep coming back for more! I hope!

So, that's about it. For those of you who have been sending me emails and texts about the blog, Thank You!. I have read them and I'm sorry for not responding... I've just been busy drawing!
